Grandma Ding Dandelion Lager is Slowboat's latest dive into delicious and balanced beers infused with herbs and spices. We've taken the base of an extremely clean lager and combined it with the floral and earthy character of dandelion and chrysanthemum. Dried dandelion is thoroughly washed and added to the boil while Hangzhou chrysanthemum is added during fermentation. The result is a complex but easy drinking brew that perfectly combined the subtle bitterness and floral nature of the herbs with the subtle malt backbone of the lager. The beer has a perfectly clear golden color with a fine creamy head. At 4.8%, this is a refreshing and easy to drink beer that should take you all the way through summer and beyond.
