Born in 2020 and raised in Kunming.岔巴 literally means to interrupt or interject during a chat. At the brewpub in the heart of Kunming, unapologetic banter and 岔巴 amongst friends is highly encouraged and even expected (especially after a few beers!). The Chaba brewery primarily uses imported barley and wheat malts, hops, and yeast strains. But in order to inject Yunnan flavor profiles, we also use locally-sourced adjuncts, such as fruits, spices, and peppers. Each and every one of our beers is conceived of in our lush, high-altitude home using the native abundance around us. Chaba highlights local tastes and makes sure that our beers scream Yunnan from every glass.
